Sign up for sex sites
Subscribers to thousands of web sites may face excess credit card charges due to technical difficulties at i Bill, the online sex industry's favourite billing company.
Problems last week took i Bill's client database offline for two days, leaving site owners without access to customer records and account administration.
The aim of the bill “FOSTA” is to hold websites responsible for illegalities conducted through personal pages on the said website.
One of the major sites at the receiving end of this legislation is Craigslist personals which has dominated this area for decades.
Out of all alternatives checked at the time of this writing, here are five (5) alternatives to Craigslist personals that stand out: The initial idea behind was simply to provide a temporary solution which enabled individuals to have fun and connect with each other within a safe area such that the void created by most other sites in this respect would be filled.
By so doing, managed to garner much more patronage than initially anticipated in its early days.
There is definitely an over saturation of such alternatives bringing with it the issue of ineffective solutions or spammy sites.i Bill's decision to suspend subs cancellations will have particular impact on the customers of adult web sites (where it is a favoured payment mechanism), as the services are fairly expensive, and the price difference between trial and full memberships is generally quite large. An i Bill client services rep said today that cancellations should be available again by Tuesday. She also gave assurances that refunds issued for unwanted charges would not show up as a "black mark" against a customer's credit card, which under normal circumstances could lead to the card being declined in future.According to the rep, however, subscribers are still able to manually cancel accounts through i Bill's customer service site.
